(Washington, DC) – Congressman Ed Case (HI-01) released this statement on President Biden’s State of the Union speech tonight: “President Biden delivered a very strong and direct State of the Union to the American people and to the world. He spoke honestly about the challenges American families face, the progress we’ve made, and the opportunities we have to advance much further together. “For me the best parts of his speech were in acknowledging this difficult time in our history, the forks in the road we face and the consequences of the choices we make, in calling on us all to seize the future together rather than retreat into the past, and in telling our friends and adversaries abroad that America will not walk away from our commitment to international leadership.” ### |
