Appropriations

Congressional App Challenge Submissions
Each fall, the U.S. House of Representatives sponsors a middle and high school app competition. Any student who is a constituent can fill participate. The winning individual or team will be invited to Washington, DC for a reception and a two-day science fair called #HouseofCode, as well as have their apps displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building.
Congressional Art Competition Submissions
Each spring, the U.S. House of Representatives sponsors a high school art competition. Any high school student who is a constituent can fill out an application form and submit their artwork. The winner has their art displayed in the U.S. Capitol building for that year. Read More »
Community Project Funding
The House has adopted a submissions process for Community Project Funding (CPF) requests by individual Members for specific projects and purposes. This is because Members know our districts and their unique needs and priorities, and should be able to direct some federal funding to specific projects rather than leave those decisions to federal administrators without that knowledge.
