Congressman Case summarizes his activities in the 116th Congress in this End of Term Report.

(Honolulu, HI) – U.S. Congressman Ed Case (HI-01) today released his 116th Congress End-Of-Term Report back to Hawai’i on his activities and efforts throughout the two-year 116th Congress (January 3, 2019 - January 3, 2021).

“In January 2019, as I returned to Capitol Hill for my third full term representing Hawai’i in the U.S. House of Representatives, the country was mired in what soon became the longest federal government shutdown in our history,” said Case.

“As I end the 116th and am sworn into the 117th Congress this Sunday, we continue to confront the far-worse crisis of COVID-19. “These are truly difficult times, when we desperately need our institutions of government to function as our founders intended.

“And a critical part of functioning government is staying in very close touch with those we represent, reporting back and seeking guidance wherever and however we can.”

In his report, Case summarizes his activities in the 116th in his three areas of focus: leading on national issues; helping Hawai’i; and helping constituents.

“I hope my report will provide those I serve with some sense of where I’ve been in the 116th and where I’m going in the 117th as we all chart the best path forward for our county and Hawai’i over the next two years and beyond”, said Case.
